Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can very well understand your concern..
As per your complain bumps on the corner of mouth occurs due to three common causes:
1.COLD SORES:They are caused by
Herpes Simplex Virus 1 and lead to multiple blisters that are filled with clear fluid..
They commonly resolve in a period of 2 weeks or even less but in case if there seems no improvement then oral
antiviral therapy is advised.
2.CANKER SORES:They are caused due to a number of reasons like
Nutritional deficiency of Iron,
Vitamin B12 and
folic acid, stress, bacterial overgrowth, allergies etc..
It can be treated by taking multivitamins, application of steroid based
ointments and cold compresses..
3.FUNGAL INFECTION: It mostly presents as scabbing, cracks, inflammation and at times bleeding. Bumps are less common in fungal infection but at times in some cases bumps can occur..
Antifungal ointments and oral medications can help..
Nothing to worry
consult a Dermatologist and get a thorough evaluation done along with laboratory investigations like swab culture, microscopic examination of the tissue, blood tests etc..
A proper treatment can be advised only after confirmatory diagnosis is made as without it any hit and trial treatment can be harmful..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
