What Causes Red Dots And Swelling On Tongue?

hi i have developed some red dots in my tongue, and they seem to be kind of white on the back of the tongue, the back of the tongue seem to be swollen too. I thought i had a heat rash about 10 days ago and i got a treatment with Xanax and another antiallergic medicine (dont remember the name now) The heat rash is gone but before the heat rash in my down chest was gone, i noticed the problem in my tongue. any help?

Hi.
As per your case history we need to get further details like -
Is it flat or swollen?
Does it pain or cause burning on eating food?
Is it the first time you have this?
Do you have any systemic disease like diabetes?

My Probable diagnosis is either candidal infection or multivitamin deficiency.
My treatment advice is -
1. Take a multivitamin supplement like supradyn twice daily.
2. Apply an topical antifungal mouth paint like clotrimazole twice daily.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
