What Causes Red Bumpy Rash All Over The Body?
My 3 year old granddaughter has a red bumpy rash all over her body. She had a small rash this morning on her neck which went away. Now, 12 hours later, my daughter called and it is covering most of her body. She is itchy and uncomfortable. We can not think of any new foods or detergents used.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergy from specific food like some people are allergic to seafood and nuts , side effect of certain medicine, contact dermatitis, sensitivity to sun or some underlying condition like skin infection and psoriasis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid seafood and nuts , apply cold compresses to rashes and take antihistamine like benadryl . Consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order skin test for allergy to particular food or thing like detergents . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic medicine or corticosteroid ointment or may refer you to allergy specialist .
