What Causes Red Bumps On The Eyelid?

I have red rash-like bumps on my left eyelid that are sore and a bit itchy at times. It seems to be spreading down to the outside corner of my eye and onto my upper cheek bone area. My whites of my eyes are also red with the most red appearing in the lower portion of my eyeball. I have had this for approx 2.5 weeks where it has become progressively worse for a day or two and then calms down before it flares up again.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Bumps on the left eyelid which is itchy and painful can be due to primary skin pathology.

The rash spreading to cheek further supports that the rash could be due to a primary skin condition.

I suggest you consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and hence diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
