What Causes Red Area Around The Stitches Post Mole Removal On Leg?

I had a mole removed on my leg and got several stitches. It s been about 10 days And the area around the stitches is red. It s slightly warm to the touch. No pus or pain. Is this normal or it is a sign of infection ? I m not scheduled to get them out until a week from today.

hello and welcome to healthcare magic forum!

thank you for your query,

the stitches are showing a sign of inflammation which usually happens
when there is any infection before further delay kindly visit your doctor and use the prescribed antibiotic course given by your doctor.

Wishing you good health!
