What Causes Recurring White Patches On Cheeks And Eyebrows?
I have two white patches one over my right eye brow and other on left cheek. I checked with a dermatologist and he prescribed Placentrex gel 20g in morning. Combination of tacroz 0.03℅ and flutivate skin cream in afternoon and melbild solution in night. I used it for one week. A new patch on right cheek is appearing now. What should I do ? Should I start applying creams on that also. Is it because of some side effect. I really worried. Please help.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring white patches on cheeks and eyebrows due to two main reasons 1) It could be due to dysbiosis of intestine means incomplete digestion of food. 2) It could be due to pityriasis alba means hyperepigmentation on dry skin. Fungal infection or sunburn can also cause such symptoms .I would suggest you not to panic about it and start topical tacrolimus ointment in mild amount an hydrocotisone cream to apply on these patches. Use Fenistil drops if it is due to indigestion. Avoid exposure to sun light and use cream rich in SPF 26 to prevent exposure. wash face with mild face wash twice daily. Your symptoms will resolve in 1 month. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
