General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi i do care for your concern.
first of all sorry that you have not mentioned your age and sex.
Urinary tract infection is more common in females and also in diabetic person.
It is important that adequate hygiene must be maintained so as to prevent the recurrence of urinary tract infection.
I would advise
To consult your physician and get examined of your blood glucose levels, if found high then medicines should be taken.
Regarding the current infection it is advisable to take antibiotic sensitivity testing done and get medicines according to it.
Completing the full course of antibiotics is a must.
and also using antiseptic soap and hygiene measures will help you a lot.
Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask.
Thank you.
I find this answer helpful
