Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern....

As per your complain in case if you are having recurrent painful canker sore or Apthous ulcers in mouth along with tonsils get infected it is possible that you ave acid reflux leading to throat inflammation and mouth ulcers, if it is the case then pantop 40mg, vizyalc will be helpful while calpol will help in reducing pain, bifilac which is a probiotic can also help but you should take all these only after consultation with a general physician after a proper checkup for the exact cause of the ulcers..
In general the apthous ulcers which are very painful and does not respond to other treatments are treated with Steroids..
You can take Prednisone 10mg twice daily for 5 days..
A multivitamin tablet like Zincovit has to be taken once daily for 15 days..
Gargle with salt water..
Gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia will help..
Sucking ice pops will help..
You can apply a numbing gel like oragel over sores as it will numb the lesions and provide relief especially during eating..
Apply a steroid based anti-inflammatory gel like Kenalog in Orabase for reducing inflammation and pain..
Hopefully the ulcers will subside in a week or even less and if it does not resolve consult an Oral Physician..

Hope this information helps..
