Hi Mukti,

I can understand your concern. It seems that you are having bouts of recurrent apthous ulcers.

Sometimes ulcer start as pimple like lesion and then the upper skin breaks down giving appearance of typical ulcerated lesion and the ulcers typically heal within 7 days. The most common reason for such type of recurrent bouts is deficiency of Vitamin B Complex. I would advise you to start with the supplements of Vitamin B complex such as Vizylac Capsules or B Folcin once a day for at least 15 days and if possible, for a month.

If you are suffering from constant constipation or stomach upset, that can also give you episodes of such ulcers. In that case, taking regular laxatives or consulting a physician can help.

This will definitely improve the problem of ulcers. In addition, you can locally apply Benzocaine Gel such as Mucopain. You can apply this gel 3-4 times in a day and especially before meals for painless eating.

However, if the condition does not improve in a week, I would advise you to visit a dentist for clinical examination of the ulcers and further investigations.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
