ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, The mucus which is formed from nose and lower respiratory tract-bronchus.
Many reasons for recurrent sore throat- cold water intake, change of water , cold exposure, smoking, GERD, Allergy ,COPD, Asthma, working in dust and mines. In your case you may require to talk to your Dr to find out the cause or you write down the things consumed on the day you have black streaked mucus.
Avoid the exposure / smoking. take care
