What Causes Recurring Periorbital Edema?

My 17 year old son has had multiple episodes (greater than 6 in 4 months) of acute severe periorbital edema. Lower lids hanging on his cheeks, upper lids swollen closed and cannot be pried apart. No rashes, skin issues, breathing issues. Resolves in a matter of hours. Tested for multiple things including angioedema but no answers. I think he may have some weird syndrome or disease....

Peri orbital edema may be due to problems related to kidney. Have you got renal profile done for your child? If no, then please get it done.
