Hi, Based on the history you have shared, though clinical diagnosis of gonorhea was suspected but it would have been good to get a culture and sensitivity of discharge before starting antibiotics. The symptoms will relive once antibiotics effects will start and more fluids and citrosoda sachet may help with burning. However, if ineffective other possibilities like chlamydia may be ruled out. Azithromycin or injectable ceftriaxone may be needed in that case. Meanwhile barrier methods or till recovery precautions of intercourse may be followed. Hope I have answered your query.
