What Causes Recurring Pain In Lower Abdomen And Back With Constipation?
Dull, constant pain in liver area and back accompanied by constipation lasting over a week. Nothing helps except suppositories. Have found foul smelling yellow mucous and what appears to be pink spots in the mucous, maybe blood or tissue. Feel constantly bloated and gassy.

I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound, complete blood count and a stool bacterial culture and stool test for blood. It could be just indigestion, but a fibro-colonoscopy may be needed, if there is presence of blood in the stool.
