What Causes Recurring Pain In Chest And Abdomen?

I am experiencing pain behind breast and stomach pain which comes on sudden. The pain is severe. I have been given pain pills that I take. And I also take Prilosec because I thought I might have acid reflux. I have been to the doctor and done many tests and said my heart rate is low but they think that might be normal for me. I get this pain a couple of times a month but diminishes 30 minutes after my pain pill. Please advise.
