Hello and Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I will try to the best of my ability to help you with your concern.
The most probable reason for recurring ulcers in your mouth is aphthous ulcer . These ulcers can occur due to various reasons like allergy ,stress ,
hormonal changes ,
vitamin deficiency and trauma . There can be some underlying disease that is responsible for ulcers like crohn's disease .
I would suggest you :
- Avoid eating hot and spicy food .
- Avoid eating sea food and nuts for sometime , because they can cause allergy .
- Do warm saline rinses several times a day .
Consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis to find out if there is any underlying disease which can be responsible .
He /she may order biopsy or
blood test to findout the exact cause .
Sometimes ulcers occur due to irritation because of dental appliance . So doctor may refer you to
dentist for correction of dental appliance .
Other possible treatments include placing a medication called chlortetracycline (
Aureomycin) on the sores or injecting steroids into the sores.
I hope it helps.
Thanks
