What Causes Recurring Missed Abortions?

Hello sir my sonography report is Uterus is anteverted,bulky and shows single intrauterine gestational sac GS 22mm with single yolk sac and single embryo within in of 7 mm . Cardiac activity not present. Findings suggest missed abortion. Area of subchorionic haemmorhage is noted. Minimal fluid is seen in perisac region. sir this is my second missed abortion. And in both pragnancy missed abortion time is same 2 month and cardiac problem is also same please give me reason why it happen and give me suggestions and solutions please

Hi,

Abortions in first 3months of pregnancy are mostly due to low progesterone levels. You need to get a through check up (both of you)to know normality of ovum (ovulation study)&sperm(by semen analysis).

Once that is confirmed, start taking folic acid5mg both of you daily for 3months along with vitamin E 250mg daily.

When your period is missed the deficient hormone is replaced regularly with your gynecologist's prescription for the period advised after checking you (mostly till 4 months of pregnancy). This should work for you if not you need extensive investigations.
