What Causes Recurring Foul Smells I M Nose?

Hi I have a reoccurring problem with a really bad smell in my nose and when I blow my nose it comes out very bad smelling thick and dark colour but it also has blood mixed in it. I have been to my doctors a few times about it but because at the time they can t see anything they send me away again and again. I always thought that a rancid smell meant an infection? I finally got a doctor to send me to an ent consultant but I don t want to fobbed off so what questions should I ask to try and get this sorted as it has been going on for about 3 years on and off.

The best way to get a proper diagnosis is ::

Get a long course of an antibiotic and supportive treatment
