What Causes Recurring Fluttering Sensation In The Chest And Throat Area?

I am having a sporadic fluttering in my chest/throat area, it seems more prevalent when at rest - 58 yr old Caucasian male, non-smoker, treated hypertension, Crohn s disease (in remission) - current meds; carvedilol 6.25mg BID, omeprazole 20mg daily, loratadine as needed, Remicade every 8 weeks

Hi welcome to the health care magic

For hypertension and as cardioprotective you are using carvediolol drug....

Here for fluttering sensation in chest cardiac condition like arrhythmia should be ruled out..
Work up done as follow...
-Auscultation
-Tread mill
-EKG
-Echo only if needed

If specific cardiac cause found than accordingly further treatment needed

Continue prescribed medication and consult cardiologist or physician for examination and cardiac check up as above
