What Causes Recurring Fever And Cough Inspite Of Giving Dolopar And Carmax?

Hello doctor daughter 2.5 years old...from last 3 days she is having fever and cough... I took her to doctors and doctors have given some medicine named as DOLOPER, corymax & Cough Syrup but no antibiotic. Fever repeats after every 3 hours. What I can do now.

Hi,
Since your child has fever and cough for 3 days, and you are already giving paracetamol and cough syrup so in my opinion the child should be given antibiotic like moxclav syrup 5 ml PO three times a day for 3 days. However, since this is a prescription medicine, i advice you to meet the local doctor to confirm the diagnosis.
