What Causes Recurring Extreme Pain In The Testicles?

Married 50 years old, over course of my life i have had sex or masturbated every few days to avoid incredible pain in testicles..blue balls is answer i am told usually..seen urologist over years who have done ultrasounds to check for twisted tubes but no cure or explanation usually offer pain pills and suggest masturbation, which after several ejaculations pain subsides and everything goes back to normal. Yesterday had been three days without ejaculating and I did so. Last night in middle of night it was like someone kicked me in the testicles. Put ice on it and then ejaculated this morning, pain has not subsided. Wife suggest emergency room visit but after multiple urologist over the years saying nothing they had heard of I didn t want to bother, now i am doubled up again in pain...have not had any private time so i am seeking alternative answer...know what it is not...not hyperspermia, not thyroid related as far as i know, but have no name for it so searching online for an answer...please help

Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pain in the scrotum can be the result of serious conditions like testicular torsion or a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Ignoring the pain may cause irreversible damage to the testicles and scrotum. Often, problems with the testicles cause abdominal or groin pain before pain in the testicle develops.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
