What Causes Recurring Boils When On Medication For Diabetes?
Hello Doctor,
I am a diabetic and under medication. I follow my medication strictly. In the recent times i used to get repeated boils. First time on bums (4 boils at a time) and got treated in a week with heavy antibiotics and with Mupimet cream. Again in an month time i have got boils (3 to 4) and consulted dermatologist who prescribed to use Soapex and Fudic BNC Cream along with some antibiotics. Also Doctor asked me to Apply Fudic cream to the nip of the boil and to apply Fudic cream to my Nose and Rectum saying that's where the infection starts. Is it correct? Can you pls confirm.
Also why I am getting boils repeatedly, even though i am an diabetic am following my medication strictly and keeping my Sugar level less than 200. Can you pls provide me a permanent solution.
Note: I am occasional drinker and Foodie ( especially like meat & fish)

Dear sir I understand your concern. the main reson for repeated infection in your uncontrolled diabetes.keeping sugar below 200 is not goal in diabetes your Hba1c should be below 7% kindly do your hba1c and try doing exercise and follow diet with out that there is no treatment in diabetes......kindly get back to me for any clarification...regards
