What Causes Recurring Blister Like Canker Sore On Bottom Lip?

I have a recurring blister like canker sore on my bottom lip, I am 31 years old and have gotten canker sores before not recurring in the same spot and not as often as this has been though. I get it, take L-lysine a few times (an amazing help for canker sores) a day and then it goes away only to return a few days to a week later. Should I be concerned?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Recurring Apthous Stomatitis and can occur due to a number of causes like deiciency of iron and Vitamin B12, stress, acid reflux, physical trauma etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations as per suspected cause can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to take a multivitamin tablet daily..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Suck ice and do cool water rinses..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
