Its only vaginal discharge which may be a kind of leucorrhoea. May be caused by anaemia and/or local infection. Though its not dangerous but if stays for prolonged times, may cause weakness and purulent discharge may increase. Treatment is only cleanliness of vagina and good iron tonic. Lesser qty of period also indicates low haemoglobin. My sincere advise to all my female patients is to use safe ayurveda liquids Ashokarishta and Lohasav and vaginal wash by anhydrous alum powder. Use of four weeks will show you visible results ( though it will be visible in a week but for sustained relief its advised more). If there is back pain too then add Kumaryasav liquid too.
