What Causes Recurrent Seizures?

My daughter is having seizures daily. She has recently been in Hospital with sepsis caused by lung infection. She has the largest pitted tonsils and often has tonsil stones I was wondering if having tonsils out would improve seizures. Epilepsy has been ruled out and currently await brain scan results
