Hi I am Pulock Ghosh of 68 yrs.(M) suffering nurabic musculer pain in right leg since 2012 end. That time it was consulted with one reputed neurologiest and advised to examine MRI. After checking MRI report, he advise me to take Maxgyline 75 mg./ day for 2-3 months and take exercise as shown. At that time pain was tolerable and habituated, which dose not herm in my regular life. Now in this year 2016 it s come back gradualy and become untolerable. Again I have to take advise from another neurologist,He prescribed LYRICA 75 mg for 10 days (1st 5 days 1 cap next 5 days 2/ day). But no improvement was feel.Further advise to take spinal surgery if pain is not relive. Plese advise how to relive this continuous pain without surgery.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello there

I understand your concern
You must get yourself investigated for Ankylosing and rheumatoid arthritis as a cause for your neuropathy.
However if none of that helps then surgery may be the only solution which may turn out to be curative and save you from daily doses of pain relievers

hope that helps
