What Causes Recurrent Headaches, Nausea And Appetite Loss?

I am 23, female, and obese. Lately I have been getting headaches, feeling nauseous at random moments, and experience loss of appetite at the most unexpected times. Usually my nausea and loss of appetite accompany one another. I don t know why I am experiencing this. What is going on with me?

Hi,

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

As per your history is concerned please follow my advise below:

1) Do a full blood count with differential and MRI scan

2) Check hormonal imbalance (If any drugs taking stop it)

3) Food-Certain foods vary from person to person (Note all foods which triggers your headache)

4) Food additives like Aspartame and mono sodium glutamate

5) Drinks like coffee and Tea

6) Reduce stress by doing yoga and pranayam

7) Sensory stimuli-like loud sound,bright light,unusual smell

8) Change in awake and sleep pattern like lack of sleep or excessive sleep

9) Physical factor-like intense physical exertion, including sexual activity

10) Change in the environment

11) Medications -oral contraceptives, vaso dilators

Do investigations and check all trigger points if it fails then you will need medications lifetime. Follow me after 15 days, Dx-migraine.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
