General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your clinical history is concerned he needs antibiotics like Cefixime with probiotics and give Crocin as usual, it is due to the bacterial infection only. Try to give ORS solution after each bowel motions if fluid replacement is not enough you can admit him at the hospital and give medications in IV drips.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
