What Causes Recurrent Constipation, Stomach Pain And Vomiting?

My son is seven and for the last few months we have dealt with stomach pain and vomiting. Took to doc got xray and said constipation. Been a about 2 months since doc and no constipation till today. Had a bit of trouble going. Now he has stomach ache vomiting and temp is only 94.8 under arm before adding a degree. He s under 3 comforters and still freezing. Could this be more than just constipation?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of recurrent constipation, stomach pain and vomiting. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance , giardiasis or intestinal Ileus. Need not to worry. You should focus more on preventive methods. For now eat light and non spicy , avoid food like seafood and nuts, take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history . Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine .
