Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query recurrent cold and headaches seems to be due to sinusitis i.e sinus infection, travelling of infection through sinuses and it could be due to poor immunity of body. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination without any delay to prevent the further complication. Doctor may order X-ray paranasal sinuses along with nasal endoscopy and prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin at least for 5 days. Avoid intake of outside food and sharp spicy food substances. Avoid intake of cold beverages. You should do warm saline gargles and take decongestant and nasal saline rinses as well. Take paracetamol every 6 hourly. For now take steam thrice a day to relieve the congestion. You should avoid excessive bending forward.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
