General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The recurrent acne can be part of various possible causes as:
- Excess perspiration
- Hyper activity of sebaceous glands
- Chronic bacterial infection with propionibacterium or fungal infection
- Exacerbation through smoking
- Stress
- Excess or prolonged sun exposure

In my clinic, I do recommend a course of systemic antibiotics as doxycycline for a period of 14 days or so with supplements of vitamin E and other to care this better way.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
