What Causes Rectal Bleeding With Mucus And Pain After Rectocele Repair?

Hello, I did rectocele repair and hemorride surgery 5 weeks ago. Since then bowel movement more than 8 times per day with tenesmur. Hemorride incision is almost fine. but from last week I have rectal bleeding with mucus. Not much but always has pink blood when bw and pain. Is my situation need urgent treatment? 8 BW really hurt me when I have to get up twice even at night. Appreciated your advice. thanks.

Noted your history of rectocele repair and hemorrhoid surgery 5 weeks ago, there is tenesmus and passing bowel movements more than 8 times per day. There is rectal bleeding with mucus since last week, wants to know further...
The cause of the rectal bleeding with mucus is obviously due to two reason, the surgical trauma instigating the rectal mucosal changes and there may be a secondary infection.
I would advise you the following:
Take probiotic and ask your Doctor to change the antibiotic.
Send sample of stool for tests and see the results
Proctoscopy can be done with utmost care to see if there is any bleeding focus.
Change over to other diet and beverages that you are taking at the moment so that control of bowel movements may be achieved.
