What Causes Rashes On Vagina While Treating Vaginal Yeast Infection?

Hi.. 2 weeks back I got yeast infection.. Itching clitoris and inner labia.. My gyno prescribed AF 150, 2 dose once in a week... And Allegra 120 once daily for 5 days.. And candex b ointment... That itching is fine now.. But now I got rough rashes on my outer labia and allover vulva.. Is this bcoz of the medication prescribed or this is totally different...

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Any medicine can cause allergic reaction. As you got rash after applying the ointment it can be due to allergic reaction from it. Consult your treating doctor for changing to another drug. In such case would suggest a different anti fungal group ointment with combination of corticosteroid and antibiotic.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
