What Causes Rashes On The Hands And Feet After Stopping Percocet?

My husband recently had lumbar spinal fusion surgery on the 2nd of March, the doctor had prescribed him oxycodone(Percocet) and also hydrocodone too. He stopped taking the Percocet and now his hands and sometimes feet are bothering him and also looks like he s gotten a couple of bumps or rash like spots on his legs, is this an allergic reaction?

Hello,

It may be rash or infection like folliculitis etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

It may be an allergic reaction to the drugs. Please consult your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
