Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Before giving my answer I would need to know if your boy had high temperature before. This is because children sometimes after having temperature have a similar presentation with rash for few days. Most of the times this rash is due to viral infection and you don't need to take any medication. Just warm baths and this will pass in few days. Let my advise you in case this situation last more than 5 days, see a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Elona Dashi
