What Causes Rashes On The Body In The Morning?

I have been having hives almost every morning for @6 months. They go away in 10 -15 minutes with no meds. Lately I have been having them in the late evening and today I ve had them on and off all day. Benadryl helped . I can t think of anything that can be causing this. Any thoughts? My email is YYYY@YYYY Thanks Lana Andre

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The description you have given sounds like urticaria. It probably has an allergic origin.Identifying what causes it(allergen) may be very difficult. However, the best treatment to this condition will be to avoid the allergen.I will suggest you see an Allergist for examination and tests. In the meantime, you may try the following:
-Continue with ananti-histamin like benadryl
-Take a long acting steroid shot like diprostene.
The allergist may help you identify the allergen with sensitivity/allergy tests like skin snip, radioallergosorbent test.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
