What Causes Rashes On The Body After Taking Ultracet And Rejoint?
I was having joint pain and was not even able to walk in was having viral fever a week ago which continued near about six days but after four days I started having joint pain .Dr diagnosed it as chikengungya and prescribed ultracet and rejoint 500+400 tablet thrice a day .now I have no fever and I ate near about 8 tab of both types. I am having many rashes and throught is becoming dry .is it life threatening
Hi dear thanks for writing to Healthcare Magic!! Rash and skin reaction are the commonest side effect mainly of rejoint, as it has a strong systemic action. To counter that use calamine lotion on affected area, do not scratch the area but you can use ice, Vit A cream and ointment will help you. You can also ask your doctor to taper the dose if required.
