What Causes Rashes On The Body After Taking Lisinopril HCTZ?
Hello, I started taking Lisinopril HCTZ 20/12.5 about 6 weeks ago. I developed a rash and they switched me to losartan HCTZ 50/12.5. I still have the rash and it has spread. Do you think that the rash may be due to HCTZ and not the Lisinopril or losartan?

It is possible since this is the only component of the medication that has not been changed.
You should discuss this possibility with your doctor. If it is related to the HCTZ then the rash should start to improve within 3 days of discontinuation of the medication.
If there is no improvement, then this means that it may not be related to the meds at all and you may need to be assessed for another cause.
