General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Rashes on the labia and buttocks before menstruation can be caused by a variety of factors, including hormonal changes, irritation from clothing or hygiene products, and certain skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.
It can also be caused by a yeast or bacterial infection such as candidiasis or bacterial vaginosis. If the rash is accompanied by other symptoms such as itching, burning, or discharge, it is best to consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
