What Causes Rashes On Face And Head In Infants With Diarrhoea?

Hi! my son is 17 months old,he was having diarhoea and the doctor gave him septran syrup,kaolin mixture for diarhoea,and a salt.i gave him this morning and he has vomit 2 times and also had the diarhea again,he also have some rashin his face and head.what do u think is wrong with him?

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history about your son who is 17 months old and having diarrhea and the Doctor prescribed septran, caolin and salt.
He started vomiting and developed rash.
The obvious reasons can be:
Reaction to sulfa component of septran and hence stop the medication , rush to hospital. Get admitted as continued vomiting and diarrhea and vomiting can cause dangerous dehydration.
The rash can be due to allergy to something or can be due to exenthema, meaning reaction to infection.
