What Causes Rashes In The Neck And Groin Area While On Enbrel Shots?

My husband has rheumatoid Arthritis for which he takes Embrel injections. Yesterday morning he was having difficulty walking (after 11 years of being in remission) and soon discovered that his neck and groin area were covered in a rash. This morning the rash had grown and covers most of his body. The rash in the neck and groin area looks like a port wine stain? The ER doc gave him prednisone

Hello there,
Embrel injection is TNF-ALPHA blocker. It reduces certain protein and decreases the immune reaction. It has common side effects like redness and pain around the injection site. probably, he has developed allergic reaction as rash and hence , he was given Prednisone to combat the allergic reaction to the drug
