What Causes Rash On The Face While On Propranolol?

I am On Propranolol. 20 mg Have used it about 2 t0 3 mos. Was kind of hard to go on.I feel ok now and it has helped some.My problem is and not sure if its from Prop. But I had a facial rash a couple weeks ago.Resembling heat rash No blisters My Med dr said was a mild case of shingles and I took a med and cream for 7 days and it mostly went away. So n past few days rash is back worse .Ear to ear on chin and down my neck to end f neck and itches badly,no blisters or stinging. So Im asking if you think Prop.is causing it.?

I really appreciate your concern, it is the allergic condition you must be having and it could be due to the drug you are taking just to confirm this better to stop this for some time and start it again if get such allergic symptoms then it would confirmed the allergic condition due to this drug, and if not then it could be something else, it is the allergic condition but not due to drug that you are taking, anti-histamine can be tried and best drug is Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day hope this information helps.
