My son is 4 years old and attends an all day pre-k class. He was fussy yesterday, however played as usual. Decreased appetite and complained of a headache. I noticed a faint rash on his stomach and buttox that became more red after bathtime. He woke up in the middle of the night crying due to severe headache. He then had the dry heaves, went to bed and was fine this morning. Just curious what your thoughts were!
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your 4 year old child is having rash over the stomach and headache. My response to your question is as follows.
These symptoms indicate indicate viral infection. This requires examination by a pediatric doctor to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly. The use of analgesics and antihistamine drugs provides symptomatic relief.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
