What Causes Rash Around The Mouth?

My 2month old has little bumps around his mouth and has had ever since he's been using NUK pacifiers. The pacifiers are made of silicone and he won't take any other kind; can he be allergic to the silicone ? If not what's causing the rash around his mouth?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain bumps around the mouth if occurred after taking the Pacifier can be due to allergic reaction to the Silicone while other cause of it can be Herpes infection causing Cold Sores..
You should consult a Paediatrician and get him evaluated and in case of allergic reaction you will have to stop feeding him with the Pacifier and gradually the bumps will start resolving..
In case if it is due to Herpes Antiviral Medication will help..
