What Causes Rapid Heart Rate Along With Blurred Vision And Ringing In Ears?

Today I walked up the stairs and my heart started racing. I went to sit down and vomited. My eyes went blurry, my ears started ringing, I went all pale and then passed out. I fainted, came to, laid on the floor for over half an hour until I felt well enough to move again. Last year I had a halter monitor test due to my fast heart rate but nothing came up and now this. What could be the problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you told, it could be iron deficiency anemia. Get your CBC done for hemoglobin levels.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Fahum Akhter, General & Family Physician
