What Causes Random Erections?

I get random erections extremely often they are not sexually related i get them alot when i am sleepy just sitting around doing nothing i have kids and its become a real problem because they tend to want to sit on my lap and lay with me but i worry about having one what can i do to control it

start thinking about something else, try to cover the area with a jacket, book or anything available, try to shift your position, put your hands in your pockets and remember its normal.
