What Causes Random Episodes Of Dizziness That Lasts For A Few Minutes?

I have random episodes of dizziness, a feeling like I m going to pass out. It happens at different times, sometimes while driving, walking though the grocery store, sitting at my desk etc. It s not postual hypotension because it doesn t happen with posture change, it just randomly happens and lasts a couple minutes then passes.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. The causes for dizziness can be many. They can be related to the inner ear, nervous system, heart problems, blood vessels and even anemia.
There is not enough information for me to figure out a diagnosis, so I recommend you start by doing a blood count test initially and go then from there. A complete check up will narrow down the causes.

I hope this helps.
Wishing you all the best.
