What Causes Raised White Area Near Healed Ulcer Location In Mouth?
About a month ago I got a painless ulcer close to the front of my tongue. A few days after, I noticed what looked like a single inflamed taste bud next to it as well as 4 skin tags under my tongue. The ulcer has healed about 95%, but now I have a raised white area near the ulcer location. No symptoms are causing any pain or discomfort. should I be concerned now that it has been a month?
thanks for your query, i have gone through your question, the raised white area could be secondary to chronic irritation caused by any sharp tooth near to the lesion.. or healing ulcer with scar...consult a oral physician for further examination and needful...i hope my answer will help you... take care...
