I am 73 yrs. old. I have a raised nickle sized circle on each side of my face. The nickle sized circles are the same color of my skin, never red, itchy or painful. They came on appeared there about three years ago. They are located away from my eye, maybe about 3quarter inches down from my eye. my dermatologist was not able to help me. He didn t know. Hello,

Your description is indicative of Milia, small fluid-filled lesions (cysts), a harmless condition.

You are suggested to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Use sunscreens when outdoors.

Exfoliate your skin with herbal exfoliating products. Take regular bath. Keep skin clean. Take steam to open the pores, let skin breath.

Topical retinol creams are effective. You can take oral vitamin A & E for better skin. A course of oral, minocycline works well. You can consult a dermatologist for cryotherapy. Avoid using chemical cosmetics, oil based products.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
