Hello,

Your symptoms look like Psoriasis. Mild to moderate psoriasis can be treated with topical corticosteroids, salicylic acid & moisturisers. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get skin biopsy test done. Methotrexate or cyclosporine given for a short period is effective. Your treating doctor may suggest you laser therapy.

If obese, maintain healthy weight. Cut on red meat, refined sugar, processed foods & dairy products. Avoid alcohol intake. Take multi vitamins to prevent symptoms due to deficiency. Take care of your personal hygiene & do not share toiletries with anyone.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
