General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The gallbladder is located at the front and the kidneys are at the back. Since you are experiencing it on your right back side it might be due to a kidney problem, it could be a pulsating renal hematoma. However, it is very rare and to be sure you should visit your GP, he will examine it and ask you to get a renal ultrasound done it needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
